Observations of The Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC)
Kron 42
Kron 42 is a compact cluster with a high surface brightness.It appears round with a 13th magnitude star on the southern edge. No other stars are visible near the cluster. The cluster does not resolve at any magnification. The UHC and OIII filters did not respond to the cluster. The cluster was still visible in the 14" and 12" scopes.
