Observations of The Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC)

Lindsay 107

Lindsay 107 is a well resolved open cluster. It has a high surface brightness and can be glimpsed with averted vision through a 5" scope. It can be see easily with direct vision with an 8" scope. The cluster appears to be made up of a collection of 15th and 16th magnitude stars. There is a slight concentration of stars toward the centre of the cluster. The UHC filter had no effect on the object.
