NGC 416

Andrew Murrell

Is a bright globular cluster with a diameter of 2'. The cluster has an even surface brightness with no central condensation. The cluster appears to be well defined from the background sky. There are no stars resolved in the cluster. The cluster is definitely round in shape and has no foreground stars scattered near.

Timo Karhula

Observed with 20x80 binoculars and described as faint and small.
